Duties Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service Lead, motivate, and train staff in coffee preparation, beverage service, and food handling techniques Oversee retail sales transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and processing cash transactions Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across the café area, including food prep stations and dining spaces Manage inventory levels for beverages, food items, and supplies; place orders as needed to prevent shortages Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and evaluating team members to foster a positive work environment Skills Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage service Previous management experience in a café or food service setting is highly preferred Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast POS for retail sales transactions and cash handling Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally Strong organizational skills with effective time management to prioritize tasks efficiently Basic math skills for cash register operations, retail math calculations, and inventory management Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation, and proper cleaning procedures Ability to lead a team with enthusiasm while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency 3 + years management experience in a familiar setting Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to creating exceptional experiences through outstanding coffee, food service, and customer care!
