Job Description

Position Description:

Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Food Service Management, Nutrition, Dietetics, Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field. (Preferred) 3 to 5 years of food service management experience, with experience in healthcare or hospital food service preferred. Supervisory or leadership experience managing dietary, nutrition, or food service staff. Food safety certification.

Knowledge of:

Hospital nutrition and therapeutic diets Food safety and sanitation regulations Budgeting and cost control CMS standards and healthcare compliance requirements.

Oversee:

Food safety and sanitation practices. Menu planning and food purchasing. Staff orientation, training, supervision, and performance evaluation. Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities related to nutrition services.
