As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading our team during scheduled shifts. You will be responsible for supporting daily operations, ensuring food safety and cleanliness standards are met, maintaining a positive guest experience, and providing leadership and guidance to team members. Key Responsibilities Lead and support team members during assigned shifts to ensure smooth and efficient operations Assist with training, coaching, and providing feedback to team members to maintain high performance and morale Ensure adherence to food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards at all times Monitor food quality, order accuracy, and speed of service to maintain an exceptional guest experience Handle shift-level staffing assignments, including breaks, station coverage, and task delegation Address and resolve customer concerns or operational issues promptly and professionally Carry out opening and closing procedures as scheduled Communicate shift updates, successes, and challenges to senior management Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience required; leadership experience preferred but not mandatory Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead by example Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle shift-level problem solving Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant operations is a plus Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Utah Food Handlers Card is required. ServSafe certification preferred but not required
