Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual (English/Spanish) 3rd Shift Sanitation Crew Leader to oversee cleaning and sanitation operations during overnight hours. In this leadership role, you will motivate and supervise a team of sanitation staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency across industrial, commercial, and hospitality environments. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of sanitation staff during the third shift, providing clear direction, training, and support to ensure efficient cleaning operations. Coordinate daily cleaning schedules for industrial facilities, commercial spaces, or hospitality environments, ensuring all areas meet sanitation standards. Enforce safety regulations and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals to prevent accidents and promote a safe work environment. Conduct regular inspections of work areas to verify cleanliness, sanitation adherence, and proper equipment maintenance. Communicate effectively with team members in both English and Spanish to ensure understanding of tasks, safety procedures, and company policies. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, safety incidents, and shift reports for accountability and continuous improvement. Foster a positive team environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and high-quality service delivery. Requirements Proven experience in custodial work, industrial cleaning, or commercial cleaning environments with a strong focus on sanitation management. Prior supervisory or team management experience in janitorial services or hospitality settings. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required to facilitate effective communication across diverse teams. Knowledge of safety regulations related to chemical handling, equipment use, and workplace safety standards. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, manage schedules, and oversee daily operations efficiently. Strong customer service orientation with excellent managerial communication skills to address team needs and client expectations. Ability to stand for extended periods, perform physical tasks including lifting or bending as needed during cleaning activities.
