Theater Box Office & Front of House Staff BAMtheatre Westmont, IL Job Details Contract $16 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Merchandising Greeting customers Event ticket sales Theater experience Full Job Description BAMtheatre , a musical theatre company in the western suburbs of Chicago, is seeking Box Office & Front of House Staff for our upcoming production season. Front of House staff help create a welcoming, organized, and positive experience for our audience members from the moment they arrive through the end of the performance. Responsibilities Sell and assist with tickets at the box office Check in audience members and assist with seating Usher and help audience members find their seats Sell concessions and merchandise Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and theatre space Answer basic questions from families and audience members Assist with opening and closing Front of House Help with other theatre and audience-related needs as they arise Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, and organized . Strong customer service skills and the ability to stay calm and helpful in a busy theatre environment are important. Previous box office or theatre experience is a plus, but not required .
