Join The Light Park Katy crew and help create a holiday experience families will want to repeat! You'll welcome guests, help keep vehicles moving safely, assist with tickets and merchandise, and work alongside a team that supports one another. This season, we're bringing Aura to
Katy:
the energy created when people come together to laugh, sing, dance, and celebrate. Every friendly welcome and helpful interaction adds to that energy. We're looking for dependable people who enjoy connecting with guests and are ready to contribute.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Welcome every guest like the party just arrived. Greet guests enthusiastically, engage with them, and help build excitement for the experience ahead. Keep the energy moving. Help direct vehicles and maintain safe, smooth traffic flow throughout the park. Get guests into the experience. Scan and sell tickets quickly and accurately while providing friendly, efficient service. Be a guest experience expert. Answer questions, provide directions, solve problems, and help guests get the most out of their visit. Help guests take some of the fun home. Support merchandise sales with enthusiastic, friendly service and no pressure to purchase. Bring the Aura. Encourage excitement, smiles, laughter, and participation whenever you interact with guests. Communicate. Stay connected with teammates and park leadership so we can respond quickly and keep the entire operation running smoothly. Help build the party. Assist with opening and closing responsibilities and other operational needs throughout the night. Look for the little moments. Sometimes creating an unforgettable experience is as simple as helping a family, making a child laugh, or giving someone an unexpectedly great interaction. Have FUN. If we're having fun, our guests can feel it, and that's where Aura grows best.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
At least 16 years old Reliable transportation to and from scheduled shifts, including late evening departures Availability for evenings, weekends, and some holidays A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to initiate conversations with guests Dependability and punctuality, with teammates counting on you to show up Clear communication and a willingness to learn Readiness to help wherever needed and support your teammates Comfort working outdoors and spending time on your feet throughout your shift First job? You're welcome here. We're looking for a helpful attitude, a willingness to engage with guests, and commitment to your team.
SCHEDULE AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The show operates every night from November 5, 2026, through January 3, 2027 . Guest hours are 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., with 11 p.m. closings on select nights . Crew shifts may begin before opening and extend beyond closing. This is an outdoor position in changing weather, including cold and rainy conditions. Jackets and branded uniforms are provided.
HOLIDAYS AND OUR BUSIEST NIGHTS
Expect to be scheduled for some holidays and peak nights. Time off approvals will be limited on these dates, and shift coverage may not be available. Please share known scheduling conflicts during your interview. We count on every scheduled Crew Member to arrive on time, follow through on commitments, and help the team deliver a great guest experience.
