Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as SmartTab POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Upsell menu items including appetizers and daily specials Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and food handling Assist with opening or closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and inventory checks Provide knowledgeable recommendations on curry spices and pairings and menu options Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing concerns promptly and professionally Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly Effective time management to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is beneficial but not required Embark on a rewarding journey where your hospitality talents will be celebrated!
