Job Description

Locally owned and operated Wood Fire pizza restaurant looking to add to our team. We are currently looking for a qualified FOH Server. Each server's primary objective is to provide our guests with a comfortable experience by making recommendations on menu items, taking and delivering food & beverage orders, and providing outstanding service at all times. A qualified applicant must have good communication skills, a friendly, positive attitude, able to lift 10-25 pounds, carry trays, and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 6 hours in length. -Stop by and complete an application to be considered for joining our team. Responsibilities Welcome and greet guests within 30 seconds. Make all of our guests feel comfortable and let them know you're there to personally take care of them Introduce yourself Inform guests of specials and menu changes Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guest will enjoy Answer questions about our food, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services Take food and beverage orders from guests Deliver food and beverages Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by the service station assignment Anticipate the guests' needs i.e. napkins, drink refills, appetizer plates Build Regulars Maintain clean service areas and pre bus tables Monitor and observe guests' dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests Prepare final bill, present the check to the guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make a change if applicable When dropping check, don't travel too far, check back asap Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return Must be able to work
