Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS , ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and ensuring guest needs are met Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via POS systems like Toast platforms Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed Foster positive guest relations through friendly interactions, attentive service, and prompt resolution of any concerns or issues Requirements Previous restaurant experience or food service background is highly preferred; fine dining or Japenese restaurant experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS, or similar platforms Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and order calculations Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with food industry tools like RESY for reservations or guest management is advantageous Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity can be beneficial for understanding food preparation processes Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in hospitality settings such as restaurants or nightclubs Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm makes every guest feel special!
