Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and guide them through their dining choices with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Spot on POS, Toast POS, or OpenTable, ensuring efficient processing of sales transactions Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments securely, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity Maintain knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address any special dietary needs or requests Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting, especially fine dining or hospitality environments Proficiency with POS systems such as Spot On POS, Toast POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations professionally Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques including drink presentation and spirits experience Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous but not required; a passion for food industry trends is appreciated Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your enthusiasm makes every guest feel special!
