Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to enhance guest experience. Provide expert knowledge on menu items, including wine pairings, spirits, cocktails, and food ingredients to assist guests in making informed choices. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas following food safety guidelines. Anticipate guest needs proactively, address concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations throughout their visit. Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards required in the food industry. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance. Previous experience with openTable reservations system is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
