Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, demonstrating expert drink service skills Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations during food handling and service Process payments accurately while managing cash handling responsibilities Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery for fine dining or casual settings Skills Extensive experience with POS systems Strong knowledge of beverage service, spirits, wine, and cocktail preparation Proven ability in food industry roles with a focus on food safety and sanitation practices Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to multitask effectively while managing time in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and cash handling accurately Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity to support food presentation and guest inquiries Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and sanitation protocols Experience with reservation systems like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently Demonstrated upselling abilities to maximize sales opportunities during service
