In this role, you will serve as an ambassador for our wine program, providing exceptional service while educating guests about wine varieties, tasting techniques, and food pairings. Your enthusiasm for wine and dedication to delivering memorable experiences will help elevate our guests' appreciation for fine wines. Duties Greet guests warmly and assist them in selecting wines that complement their meals and preferences Educate guests on different wine types, regions, tasting notes, and proper serving techniques Conduct wine tastings and presentations to enhance guest knowledge and enjoyment Maintain an organized wine list, ensuring all selections are properly stored and labeled Provide detailed descriptions of wines, including origin, flavor profiles, and pairing suggestions Collaborate with kitchen staff to recommend wine pairings for menu items Ensure all service standards are met with professionalism, enthusiasm, and attention to detail Requirements Previous experience working with children or in youth programs teaching arts or creative activities is a plus but not required Strong knowledge of wine varieties, tasting techniques, and food pairings Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and engage diverse audiences Experience teaching visual & performing arts or conducting educational classes is desirable Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining a lively and positive attitude Familiarity with classroom management or behavior management strategies beneficial for handling guest inquiries or special requests Passion for learning about new wines and sharing that knowledge with others Join us to inspire guests through your expertise in wine while delivering energetic service that leaves a lasting impression!
