Job Description
Overview In this role, you will deliver exceptional service by engaging with guests, taking and processing orders accurately, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps patrons coming back. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a lively, fast-paced environment where teamwork and positive energy are celebrated. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and beverage service, while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, and specialty cocktails to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash transactions and credit card payments accurately, handling cash safely and giving correct change Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders while managing multiple tables during busy periods Requirements Previous food service or restaurant experience, preferably in fine dining or nightlife environments such as nightclubs or bars Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest relations Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process sales efficiently Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Basic math skills for order totaling and change calculation; familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practice.
