Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of food and beverage options. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items including cocktails, wine, spirits, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while handling cash safely and accurately. Maintain knowledge of wine pairings, cocktail recipes, and food safety standards to provide expert recommendations. Ensure sanitation and food handling protocols are followed diligently throughout service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or nightclub setting. Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address concerns promptly, and promote guest relations. Assist in setting up the dining area before service shifts and clean tables after guests depart to ensure a welcoming environment. Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales transaction processing. Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage guest relations professionally and courteously. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately along with basic math skills for processing bills and tips. Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus but not required.
