Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide engaging, informative wine tastings tailored to their preferences Educate visitors on the wine-making process, varietals, and food pairing options to enhance their experience Maintain a clean, organized tasting room environment that reflects our commitment to food safety and hospitality standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as plating cheese boards or light snacks to complement tastings Manage point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service Support event setups including private tastings, tours, or special wine-related events, ensuring smooth execution Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food handling, beverage service, and cleanliness standards Lift, bend, carry 40+ lbs Qualifications Prior experience in fine dining, food service, or hospitality environments is highly desirable but not required. Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills Experience serving alcohol responsibly in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred. RBS certificate required upon hire. Knowledge of food preparation or catering is a plus; banquet experience is advantageous Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures Barista experience or familiarity with the food industry can be beneficial
