Duties Safely handle and transport food orders from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including plating and garnishing to uphold quality standards Clear and clean tables efficiently by bussing dishes, resetting tables, and maintaining a tidy dining area Support the kitchen team with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of food trays or supplies following safe lifting practices Ensure food safety protocols are followed during transportation and handling of dishes to prevent contamination Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate order delivery Maintain cleanliness by assisting with general restaurant cleaning duties, including sweeping, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing work areas Skills Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly preferred Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with team members and guests in person Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order management Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, bending, reaching, and heavy lifting safely Experience with food running, serving, bussing, or banquet service is a plus Demonstrated commitment to guest service excellence and teamwork in fast-paced settings This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
