Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as TOAST POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures Upsell menu items, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations are strictly followed Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas to uphold high sanitation standards Demonstrate excellent guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, wine knowledge, or dietary restrictions with confidence Assist in managing reservations using systems like OpenTable and support guest seating arrangements as needed Qualifications Proven food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards Experience with food safety protocols and sanitation practices in the food industry Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with guests and team members Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences.
