The right candidate will be responsible for guiding guests through the menu, confidently explaining food and beverage offerings, making thoughtful and personalized recommendations, and anticipating needs with care and attention to detail. Success in this role requires a strong sense of ownership, the ability to move with urgency and grace, and a commitment to ensuring that every guest in the room feels seen, cared for, and valued, not only those within a single section. In addition to delivering exceptional hospitality, servers are expected to maintain accuracy and accountability in all aspects of service, including order entry, billing, payment handling, and communication with the broader team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver a consistently elevated level of hospitality to every guest from greeting through farewell. Guide guests through the menu with confidence, including food, beverage, specials, and course pacing. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them promptly and correctly. Manage assigned tables with urgency, organization, and strong awareness of timing and guest needs. Coordinate with support staff and the kitchen to ensure smooth, seamless execution of service. Monitor table progress, anticipate needs, and proactively resolve issues before they affect the guest experience. Maintain strong knowledge of menu ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, and beverage offerings. Build rapport with guests in order to create memorable experiences and increase repeat clientele. Follow restaurant steps of service and operating standards with consistency, even during peak business periods. Communicate clearly with managers, hosts, bartenders, runners, and support staff throughout the shift. Maintain a clean, professional, and service-ready section at all times. Handle guest concerns with professionalism, composure, and a solutions-oriented mindset. Complete opening, running, and closing side work as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Guest-first attitude with a strong sense of hospitality, urgency, and professionalism. Confident communication skills and the ability to influence the flow of service in a calm, polished manner. Fundamental food and beverage knowledge, with the ability to learn new concepts and offerings quickly. Methodical in execution and capable of maintaining standards in a fast-paced environment. Self-aware, coachable, and able to work collaboratively with a high-energy team. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize effectively throughout service. Previous restaurant service experience required; fine dining or upscale casual experience is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to remain on feet for extended periods during service. Ability to lift and carry trays, plates, glassware, and service items safely. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and move quickly through a crowded dining room. Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts based on business needs.
