Duties Take accurate beverage and food orders using Toast POS. Prepare and serve a variety of drinks including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, and menu items to enhance guest satisfaction through upselling techniques like Toast Tables reservations and suggestive selling. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in line with food safety regulations during drink preparation, serving, and cleanup. Handle cash transactions accurately while managing tabs, processing payments swiftly, and providing excellent guest relations throughout service. Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff with food handling or basic food preparation when needed. Engage guests with friendly hospitality, ensure their needs are met promptly, and foster a lively yet professional atmosphere reminiscent of fine dining or nightclub settings. Skills Proficiency with Toast POS systems Strong knowledge of cocktail mixing techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and beverage service standards. Previous experience in food service environments such as restaurants or nightclubs is highly valued. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to increase sales while maintaining guest satisfaction. Solid understanding of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling protocols. Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective communication to build guest loyalty and positive relations.
