In this role, you will support the front-of-house team by maintaining a clean and organized service environment, assisting with food and beverage delivery, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a seamless and enjoyable dining atmosphere, making every guest feel welcome and valued. Responsibilities Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining area. Support food running duties by delivering prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies following safe lifting practices to ensure safety for yourself and colleagues. Maintain cleanliness through regular cleaning duties, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping floors, and sanitizing work stations in accordance with food safety standards. Support food handling and preparation activities as needed, ensuring all food service procedures meet health regulations. Operate POS systems like Aloha POS for order entry or processing guest payments when required. Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about the menu, and assisting with special requests to enhance their experience. Experience Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Knowledge of banquet service or large event support is a plus. Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for delivering exceptional guest services. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling safely throughout shifts. Prior kitchen or restaurant experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key.
