This role involves greeting customers, explaining menu items, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house team members. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive, and professional service. Present menus and answer questions about food and beverage options. Take customer orders accurately and communicate special requests to the kitchen. Serve food and beverages promptly and confirm order accuracy. Check on guests during meals and respond to their requests. Enter orders and process payments using the restaurant's POS system as needed. Maintain clean and organized tables, dining areas, and service stations. Clear and reset tables between guests. Coordinate with kitchen staff, hosts, and other servers to maintain smooth service. Follow food-safety, sanitation, and restaurant service procedures. Assist with opening, closing, and routine side duties as assigned. Communicate customer concerns to a supervisor or manager when necessary. Qualifications Previous server, restaurant, hospitality, or customer-service experience is helpful. Friendly and professional approach to guests. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Good attention to detail and order accuracy. Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Able to manage multiple tables and customer requests. Willingness to learn menu items and restaurant procedures.
