What you'll do Deliver outstanding customer service by warmly greeting guests and providing attentive service throughout their meal. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all requests are met with precision. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience while maximizing sales opportunities. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation that meets our high standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation protocols are followed. Assist in hosting duties as needed, welcoming guests and managing reservations through OpenTable. Handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent guest relations throughout the payment process. Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment for all guests. Basic qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is required. Preferred qualifications Fine dining experience that showcases your ability to deliver high-quality service in an upscale atmosphere. Culinary experience or kitchen background that enhances your understanding of menu items and preparation techniques. Familiarity with guest services principles to ensure an outstanding dining experience for all patrons. Experience with cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
