Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and beverages promptly, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating beverage service expertise Upsell menu items and suggest wine pairings or specialty drinks to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction Process cash and credit transactions efficiently, handle cash handling responsibilities accurately, and balance registers at shift end Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while managing multiple tables during busy hours Qualifications Previous food service experience in restaurants or similar hospitality environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs professionally Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable moments!
