Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Process cash and card transactions efficiently while handling cash handling responsibilities with accuracy Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks as needed to support kitchen staff Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage seating arrangements and optimize guest flow Requirements Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and alcohol safety standards Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest relations professionally Demonstrated ability in time management to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately Culinary experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required Valid food handling certification and knowledge of sanitation practices are preferred Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while growing your career in the vibrant world of hospitality!
