Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, Square POS, or OpenTable Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments Upsell menu items, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Assist with food handling, sanitation, and proper food preparation procedures in accordance with food safety regulations Clear tables, bussing dishes efficiently to maintain cleanliness and flow in the dining area Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, wine pairings, spirits, and beverage offerings to provide expert recommendations Support guest relations by addressing questions or special requests with professionalism and enthusiasm Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Demonstrated ability in upselling beverages like cocktails, wine, spirits, and food items effectively Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with beverage service including drink preparation and spirits knowledge Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a lively restaurant or nightclub environment Strong communication skills with a focus on guest relations and team collaboration Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality experiences!
