Job Summary Join the Salty Pelican Fish Shack team as a Busser / Food Runner , where you'll help keep our dining room moving smoothly and ensure guests have a great experience. In this role, you'll support servers and the kitchen by clearing tables promptly, delivering food accurately, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Duties Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently (plates, utensils, trash, and linens as needed) Deliver food from the kitchen to guests accurately and in a timely manner Refill water/condiments as needed and keep service areas organized Support servers and kitchen staff by communicating clearly and promptly Keep front-of-house areas clean, including bussing stations and high-traffic areas Assist with restocking supplies (napkins, utensils, cups, etc.) Provide friendly, professional service to help ensure guest satisfaction Skills / Requirements Preferred 1-2 years of experience as a busser and/or food runner in a restaurant or similar fast-paced environment but willing to train Ability to stay calm and get along well with others during busy, high-pressure moments Strong attention to detail (correct orders, table numbers, and timing) Good communication skills and a willingness to help wherever needed Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods Familiarity with restaurant cleanliness and basic food-handling expectations (as needed for runners) Availability must be Wednesday through Sunday Join us to bring your energy and reliability to life at Salty Pelican Fish Shack .
