Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Banquet Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, providing exceptional guest services, and creating memorable experiences for our patrons. As a Banquet Server/ Bartender, you will be responsible for serving plated or preparing buffet set up and/or preparing and serving drinks, maintaining the service and bar area, and ensuring that all guests receive top-notch hospitality. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area and bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods. Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to ensure a safe dining experience. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, drink specials, and new techniques. Skills Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with a strong background in bartending or restaurant roles. Culinary experience is a plus, enhancing your ability to pair drinks with food offerings. Excellent guest services skills, demonstrating a commitment to hospitality and guest relations. Familiarity with banquet service and catering operations is beneficial. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle diverse clientele effectively. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Experience in serving food and beverages efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Previous hotel or coffee experience can enhance your versatility in this role.
