Duties Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling duties with integrity Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, including wine knowledge, spirits experience, and food preparation details to answer guest questions confidently Ensure food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to promote smooth operations Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere Support openTable reservations management for seamless seating arrangements Contribute to a lively nightlife or fine dining experience by engaging guests in conversation and promoting specials or events Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktail preparation, spirits experience, wine knowledge, and drink service techniques Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills in a fast-paced setting Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Culinary experience or food industry background preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is advantageous Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Exceptional communication skills combined with a friendly attitude to foster guest satisfaction Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a dynamic hospitality environment Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
