Responsibilities:
Take accurate food and beverage orders while providing detailed menu descriptions and dietary information. Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring presentation standards are met and guest satisfaction is maximized. Buss tables promptly by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness throughout service periods. Assist kitchen staff with food preparation, dishwashing, and basic culinary tasks when needed to support smooth operations. Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling, sanitation practices, and cleaning protocols. Support catering events or banquets by setting up stations, serving guests, and ensuring seamless service flow. Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional guest relations through attentive communication and proactive service. Uphold high standards of cleanliness in dining areas, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces to ensure a welcoming environment.
Qualifications Minimum age:
18 Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles such as server or busser is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest interaction abilities. Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling, and basic food preparation techniques. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting trays or cleaning duties. Basic culinary skills such as knife handling, meat cutting, or beverage preparation are advantageous. Experience in catering or banquet settings enhances your ability to adapt quickly in diverse service environments.
