Support food running duties by transporting dishes from the kitchen to the dining area using safe lifting practices and proper manual handling techniques. Help with food preparation tasks as needed, including setting up stations and restocking supplies to ensure seamless service. Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols at all times. Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and addressing any special requests or concerns. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with order processing and billing when required. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a passion for hospitality is key! Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices, including lifting trays, boxes, or supplies. Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests. Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment. Experience with food running, serving, bussing, or banquet service is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
