Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! As a key member of our restaurant, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing friendly, efficient, and professional service. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Provide detailed menu descriptions, including wine pairings and cocktail options, to enhance guest experience through upselling opportunities. Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling duties with accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling procedures. Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout the dining experience. Requirements Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms. Experience with beverage service, including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, OpenTable reservations, and upselling techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to process sales transactions accurately and handle cash with integrity. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and guest-focused approach. Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus for understanding food preparation processes. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed in a busy restaurant environment.
