• Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser/Food Runner hybrid, to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The support plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of service. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of food handling practices, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Ensure that all food items are presented attractively and meet quality standards before serving. Assist servers by providing support during busy shifts, including bussing tables and refilling drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, ensuring a positive dining experience. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines while handling food items. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is an asset. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays of food.
