Job Summary Join our dynamic team, working in a Mexican Food Truck as a Cashier/Server, where you will be the friendly face that creates memorable experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and accuracy Operate POS systems such as Square Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Assist in food preparation when needed, including basic food handling and sanitation practices Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper sanitation standards are upheld throughout shifts Support food safety protocols by adhering to health regulations and proper food handling procedures Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent service delivery Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly while maintaining quality standards Requirements Must be Bilingual (English and Spanish) Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred Demonstrated skills in cashiering, including familiarity with POS systems Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order totaling Knowledge of food industry standards related to food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is a plus; café or grocery store experience is beneficial Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-notch service in a lively environment!
