Summary As a Server at IHOP, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Located in a vibrant community, this position is essential in upholding our mission of spreading joy through quality food and outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Provide friendly and attentive service to ensure guest satisfaction. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system. Prepare and serve food and beverages according to IHOP standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area and kitchen. Assist in food preparation as needed during peak hours. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding menu items and special requests. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality. Basic math skills for handling transactions and order calculations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is beneficial. Culinary skills or experience in food preparation are advantageous but not required.
