In this role, you'll be the face of our restaurant, creating memorable dining experiences by providing attentive and personalized service. Whether taking orders, recommending drinks, or ensuring guest satisfaction, your enthusiasm and professionalism will help foster a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate is passionate about food and beverage service, enjoys engaging with diverse guests, and thrives in a lively environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth start to their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing transactions efficiently and correctly. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards, including cocktail and spirits service. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including proper food handling and beverage preparation. Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure seamless operations. Experience Previous food service or hospitality experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or high-volume environments. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances your ability to serve guests confidently. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to build guest rapport. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
