Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Banquet Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our service, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience. Your enthusiasm for food, beverage service, and guest relations will help create a lively and welcoming atmosphere at our events and banquets. Responsibilities Set up banquet areas with tables, linens, utensils, glassware, and centerpieces to create an inviting environment. Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, including wine and drink service, ensuring guest satisfaction. Assist with food handling, food preparation support, and bussing to maintain cleanliness and efficiency during events. Engage with guests professionally to provide exceptional guest services and address any special requests or concerns. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including catering options and wine pairings, to inform guests confidently. Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times to ensure health standards are met. Clear tables efficiently after service, resetting areas for subsequent courses or events. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or catering environment is highly preferred. Strong guest services skills with a focus on guest relations and customer satisfaction. Familiarity with banquet service, fine dining standards, and beverage service techniques. Basic math skills for handling bills or POS (Point of Sale) systems transactions accurately. Knowledge of wine types, drink service procedures, and food safety regulations. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with enthusiasm. Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly attitude that enhances hospitality experiences.
