We are currently looking for someone to work 2-5 days, or more when needed, during the evening shift and potentially some mornings . The person hired will also be able to cover for others when needed. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 1-2 years serving experience. The candidate should be able to perform under a high-stress environment and delivery good quality service during rush hours. The candidate should be dependable, be able to think and work independently, be well organized and maintain areas clean at all times. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain working areas clean, stocked, and organized. Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including food preparation details and dietary accommodations Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments. Ensure food safety standards are met by following sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to uphold cleanliness and efficiency Experience Previous restaurant experience in a fast-paced environment is highly preferred Proven customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Experience in breakfast/diner restaurant is a plus. Good organization and cleanliness are a priority. Knowledge of food industry standards including sanitation, food safety, and basic math for cash handling Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume service times Serving or host/hostess experience that highlights excellent guest interaction abilities
