Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions smoothly Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Handle cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in processing payments Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas including tables, bar, and service stations Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper handling procedures for food and beverages Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly Assist with bussing tables, refilling beverages, and resetting tables to maintain a seamless flow of service Demonstrate extensive knowledge of menu items including wine pairings, spirits, and cocktail recipes to provide expert recommendations Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices Ability to process cash transactions accurately and handle financial exchanges responsibly Experience with beverage service including cocktails, wine knowledge, spirits, and drink presentation Culinary experience or background in fine dining settings is advantageous Basic math skills for order calculations, billing, and change handling Strong communication skills coupled with a friendly attitude that promotes guest relations Join us in creating an inviting environment where guests feel valued from their first sip to their last bite!
