Job Summary In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering outstanding service to guests while ensuring a seamless dining experience. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and hospitality skills will help create a lively atmosphere where guests feel valued and eager to return. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of food and beverage options. Take accurate orders using our POS system, ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks. Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and sales. Process all transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card payments, and sales transaction processing. Serve food and beverages with professionalism, including cocktail service and beverage presentation, while maintaining proper food safety and sanitation standards. Assist with food preparation tasks when needed and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Maintain guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues courteously, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Ability to process cash transactions accurately and handle sales with integrity. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive demeanor. Basic math skills for billing accuracy and inventory management. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
