In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, expert knowledge of our menu and beverage offerings, and seamless order processing. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, provide menus, and answer questions about menu items, specials, and beverage options. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation. Process cash, credit card, or digital transactions accurately; handle cash handling responsibilities with integrity. Maintain knowledge of wine pairings, spirits, cocktail recipes, and food safety standards to assist guests effectively. Support restaurant operations by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food preparation or kitchen support as needed. Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, prompt problem resolution, and personalized recommendations. Adhere to all sanitation regulations including proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe dining environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant flow during busy periods. Qualifications Previous food service experience in a fast-paced or fine dining environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during high-volume hours. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and guest-focused approach. Ability to process transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities. Hospitality background including bussing tables, host/hostess duties or cashiering is advantageous.
