Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service from arrival to departure Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, and relay orders promptly to the kitchen and bar staff Serve food and beverages with professionalism, including cocktail and spirits service, while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales transaction processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations through bussing and sanitation practices Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and beverage options based on guest preferences Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and sales processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs effectively Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing bills confidently Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is a plus Commitment to food safety standards and proper sanitation practices Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Join us in creating exceptional dining experiences where hospitality meets energy!
