Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Waitstaff/Server and become the heart of an energetic, guest-focused dining experience! Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and managing tabs via OpenTable or similar reservation systems. Upsell menu items like wines, spirits, cocktails, or specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of tables and service stations; bus tables promptly to ensure a tidy environment. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of food safety protocols, alcohol service regulations, and proper food handling procedures. Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, handle inquiries professionally, and resolve any concerns quickly. Skills Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments with a focus on guest relations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for processing sales transactions. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during high-volume shifts. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and bill splitting; experience with cashiering is a plus. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor. Knowledge of sanitation standards, food safety regulations, and proper food handling practices in the restaurant industry.
