Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert knowledge, and a lively personality. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable dining moments for our guests while ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and processing of sales transactions Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, demonstrating knowledge of menu items and pairings Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food handling, preparation support, and basic kitchen tasks as needed to ensure smooth service flow Build rapport with guests through excellent customer service skills, addressing questions about menu items like food preparation or wine selections Requirements Prior food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment; fine dining experience is a plus Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable reservations is desirable Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to guest relations Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and upselling techniques Excellent math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash or credit card payments confidently Join our team if you're passionate about hospitality, eager to develop your serving skills in a lively setting, and committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
