Event servers handle food and drink service for hotel banquet functions. They make sure the event space looks great and present the menu to guests. This includes setting up linens and tables, designing food stations, and serving drinks. Other tasks include general prep work, refreshing the room between sessions, and keeping everything clean.

The pay rate for this position is $17.00 per hour, which is the rate Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to offer. In addition, there is the opportunity to earn more through tips.

Qualifications

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
