Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Bar Server, where your energetic personality and passion for guest service will shine! In this dynamic role, you will be the face of our bar, delivering exceptional beverage and food service in a lively environment. Your expertise in cocktail crafting, wine knowledge, and customer relations will create memorable experiences for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Duties Greet guests warmly and take beverage and food orders with enthusiasm and accuracy Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Process sales transactions efficiently using POS systems. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Manage guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing inquiries promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times Requirements Proven experience in food service or beverage industry, including bartending or cocktail experience; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while processing sales efficiently Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, drink recipes, and beverage service techniques Basic math skills for order calculations and transaction processing Understanding of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and sanitation practices Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred; culinary or kitchen experience is a bonus Embark on an exciting journey with us where your passion for hospitality meets endless opportunities for growth!
