Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Waiter/Server to join our team. We are looking for someone part time or full time 2-5 days a week. We have all shift mornings, evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, ensuring every guest has a memorable dining experience. The Waiter/Server will take food and beverage orders, serve dishes, and assist with any customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Present menus and explain daily specials to guests.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle any issues.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Uphold restaurant policies and standards for service quality.
- Participate in training and team meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a waiter/server in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to lift heavy trays of food and beverages.
- Must be able to perform basic physical tasks related to the role.
Salary:
- Competitive hourly wage plus tips.
