Our Wait Assistants play an important role in creating a seamless guest experience by supporting our servers, maintaining the dining room, and anticipating the needs of both guests and the service team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and takes pride in providing thoughtful, attentive service. Responsibilities Assist servers with providing attentive, efficient, and gracious service to guests Deliver food and beverages to tables accurately and promptly Clear, reset, and maintain tables throughout service Keep the dining room, service stations, and surrounding areas clean, organized, and well stocked Anticipate guest and server needs throughout the dining experience Assist with water service, bread/popovers, silverware, napkins, and other table needs Support servers with running food and drinks during busy periods Communicate clearly and professionally with servers, management, kitchen, and other team members Maintain awareness of the dining room and help ensure guests are never left waiting Assist with opening and closing side work as assigned Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant standards Contribute to a positive, professional, and collaborative team environment Perform additional duties as needed to support the overall guest experience What We're Looking For Warm, friendly, and genuinely hospitable personality Strong work ethic and a willingness to jump in wherever needed Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to remain composed and focused in a busy restaurant environment Reliable and punctual Ability to take direction and respond well to feedback Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person The Ideal Candidate You understand that great hospitality is about anticipating needs, paying attention to the details, and taking care of the team as much as the guest .
