Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service in a fast-paced setting. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast. Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card payments, and upselling of menu items like wine, spirits, or specialty cocktails. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including food preparation details, wine pairings, spirits options, and cocktail recipes to enhance guest experience. Uphold food safety standards and sanitation protocols during food handling and beverage service. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Engage with guests to foster positive relations, handle inquiries professionally, and resolve any concerns promptly. Support team members during busy hours by managing multiple tables and prioritizing tasks effectively. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; but training is available. Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast. Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest relations. Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during high-volume periods. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly. Knowledge of sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and proper food handling procedures.
