Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit. Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring proper presentation and quality. Upsell menu items such as specialty drinks or appetizers to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions and process sales accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant software. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly. Skills Previous food service or hospitality experience is highly preferred; experience with food industry standards is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing. Strong customer service skills with an ability to connect with diverse guests and handle guest relations professionally. Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality service. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions efficiently. Food handling certification or knowledge of sanitation practices is desirable to ensure food safety compliance.
